At Morning Side Stables, our show team is first and foremost a FAMILY! We take pride in winning but we take strides together in our losses just the same. Our team is amongst the most successful in the Northern Virginia area - but we're also amongst the most approachable and lowkey that you're going to find. Whether your child is just beginning to show or is looking for an alternative home and a different experience, we're excited to welcome them to the TNT Show Team at Morning Side Stables!
Led by owner Tara Ward, top-notch, expert trainer Terri Turner Smith (TNT!) and supported by some of the best instructors and riders in the business, our team harnesses a combined 45+ years of educational and training experience. Win or lose, our team rides for the love of the sport, for the partnerships it develops between horse and rider and for the friendships that last long after the barn lights are off.

Our mission is to build confident, thoughtful equestrians who can harness the lessons of the show ring to power their futures. Winning takes hard work and commitment, but it is never guaranteed - we take the lessons of loss with the same value.
We believe that our horses aren't just athletes - they are teachers, friends and the heartbeat of our team!
